Center for excellence in Education is mainly working with the objective of easy access to quality education.

Mere good infrastructure and quality education do not assure access to education, particularly in India, where financial constrains play a critical role in determining the status and accessibility of education. Government has been allocating huge amount of money to develop educational infrastructure but could not succeed in reaching the desired levels in quality education, the reasons being manifold; for example, child labour, financial incapability to bear the educational
expenses, high dropout rate especially for the girls. Hence as a step towards dealing with such issues, Project LIFE decided to facilitate scholarship programs for the needy and deserving students.

At present, under Project LIFE three scholarship programmes have been implemented.
