Science of Living Programme

Science of Living Programme

Not just another stream of Yoga and meditation, Prekshadhyan is a way of life. Concentrating to address the spiritual, mental and physical status of man in a harmonized and holistic method, Preksha-dhyan achieves healing and elevation of mind, body and soul to a content, healthy and balanced plane. Creating insight and understanding through self perception, this practice leads to purification of mind and soul and of enhancement of health status, detoxicating the systems, releasing stresses and controlling emotions.

The sequences of Aasanas, Pranayam, Meditation in Prekshadhyan infuse deep relaxation and lead to physical-mental-emotional-spiritual balance. Preksha-dhyan focuses on the aim 'Arham' which means being neutral, detached and free from egos, likes, dislikes and compulsive traits. The uniquely effective techniques of this Science of Living have been developed, refined, mastered and taught by Acharya Shri Tulsi, Yugpradhan Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji, Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji over two decades. Under able monitoring and guidance of these masters, Project LIFE achieves this mission of alternative therapy through Preksha-dhyan Shibirs regularly conducted at LIFE building in general, disease specific, age specific and gender specific modules. Not resting here, Project LIFE is into a constant research on the impact of Preksha-dhyan on the life-style of people, in coordination with Dr. Kamal Parikh M.D. and Dr. Gautam Dave M.D.

Though healing science of Preksha-dhyan is non-medical, special Shibirs and orientations are organized for medical practitioners for the benefit of our society. To de-stress young students and enhance their focus on study as well as refine interpersonal relationships of the youth, Project LIFE conducts 'Jeevan-vigyan' Shibirs, which through simple and specific exercises and breathing techniques lead the youth to a healthier mind-body status. The effectiveness of this programme has prompted several schools to make Jeevanvigyan a part of their curriculum. Project LIFE aims at promoting Preksha-dhyan on yet wider scale for far-reaching societal benefits through specifically devised Shibiirs, outdoor Shibirs in schools, colleges and training of the school teachers in Preksha-dhyan to impart Yoga training to the students as part of their study.

This effort gets even more profound through initiative of Project LIFE inviting expert masters and leaders from renowned institutions like Kaivalyadham - Lonavala/Mumbai, Jeevan-vigyan Academy - Ladnun etc. for conducting specific Shibirs at LIFE building.

Project LIFE created sensational impact by conducting Shibirs at all 23 prisons in Gujarat for the prisoners. The excellent reforms accentuated in these prisoners have been heart rendering. Shibirs are also conducted at various government departments to promote and enhance work-efficiency and focus.

In a recent event, Healthy Life Club has been started and there are beneficiaries over 300.
