As a part of its efforts to bring forth the best of the children Project ‘Life’, conferred merit scholarships on primary and secondary students. All those who secured first to sixth ranks from classes IV to VII were eligible for the same. Over 700 students from 46 of the schools (reconstructed by Project ‘Life’) and some rural Secondary Schools were awarded the scholarships. Of these 668 students belonged to the Primary section.
These students were awarded scholarships at the school level functions attended by their classmates, school teachers, school authorities, their parents, family members, village leaders and elders thereby inspiring and motivating them to excel in studies and perform better. It also conferred scholarships to two MBA students.
