Project ‘Life’ team was inspired to work for the empowerment of widows by our Chairman, Mr. Harshad Mehta. He motivated the team to take up the challenge of assisting the widows and help them to be self reliant.
While working on this new initiative of providing assistance to over 1100 widows, Project ‘Life’ shall be collaborating with the Government of Gujarat. Through this project, the beneficiaries would be taught various trades such as computers, tailoring, embroidery, bead work etc.
It is commendable and important that Project ‘Life’ is the first Non Profit organization in Gujarat that has provided computer training to widows. In a month’s time three awareness camps have been organized at Dahegam (Gandhinagar District) and Ahmedabad.
